“…(The Student Nutrition Program) has been my favourite volunteer job because I’ve seen so many kids benefit from it”

“The wonderful volunteers who donate their time to come in every week are so caring and giving”

A little time can make a BIG difference!

Volunteers are the very essence of our service. Positive, encouraging environments are created through the passion, kindness and commitment of our volunteers.  We are proud of the many dedicated and caring individuals who volunteer with our programs.

  • Senior volunteers provide a valuable service that encourages inter-generational relationships.

  • High school students can earn their 40 hours of community service while gaining valuable experience working with children and gaining an understanding of their community.

  • Businesses contribute through employee flexibility programs allowing flex or paid time for volunteering at a program or through in-kind donations, food or supplies.
